Electrical Troubleshooting,
General Notes
This owner’s manual is designed for owner
operation of the vessel. If it is necessary to
do detailed electrical troubleshooting,
contact Cruisers Yachts Customer Service
at 1-800-743-3478 and request the
necessary documentation, which could
include schematics and harness drawings.
The primary problem involved in most
troubleshooting involves loss of power to the
individual system. This can be caused
because a circuit breaker is tripped. These
circuit breakers can be identified and located
in
Section 5
. If a circuit breaker is tripped it
can be reset. If the circuit breaker trips
immediately after being reset it is an
indication that the circuit is overloaded. In
this case it is necessary to determine the
cause of the fault and to remove the cause
of the fault before resetting the circuit
breaker again. This determination should be
done by a qualified service technician.
Contact the Customer Service Department
at Cruiser Yachts if electrical documentation
is needed.
