7.6.1 Test Analog Output (CGAS-AP models)
For analog cGas Detector models (CGAS-AP), testing the analog output allows
you to determine if the installation was successful. Do this by sending a
predetermined analog signal to the DDC or BAS to test that the correct signal
is being sent out and the confi gured outcome occurs (ie. if analog output is
confi gured for VFD control, the fans operate as expected).
From the main display, press ENTER.
Enter passcode 0001 using the UP button and ENTER button.

Press ENTER to access the Test Menu.

In the Test AO menu, the default entry is 4 mA. Press ENTER.

Enter the preferred output value between 0 and 30 mA by using the UP, DOWN
and ENTER buttons, or to continue with 4 mA press ENTER to the end.

When fi nished, press ENTER and then again to Confi rm Y.

The test will start as soon as you press ENTER to confi rm and will remain in the
test mode as long as the Test AO screen remains untouched. To stop the test,
press the UP or DOWN button. To test another analog output value repeat the
process by pressing ENTER.
