6.5 Wiring Connections
The cGas Detector transmitter is a low voltage powered device. Any application
of operating voltages higher than indicated in the specifi cation may result in
damage. Double check wiring connections prior to powering the transmitter.
Damage from incorrect wiring connections or from too much voltage applied is
not covered under warranty.
6.5.1 Analog Wiring Connections
Signal output and supply should be in shielded cable. The cable shield should
be connected to earth ground at the controller/power supply that is providing
power for the cGas.
If the cGas Detector is being connected to either a QCC or FCS the supply
voltage will either be supplied by the QCC or FCS and any additional power
