To view the available slots in the MC2W, expand the MC2W Remote Cresnet
Processing device in Slot 9. The following diagram shows the available slots of an
MC2W operating in slave mode.
MC2W Device Detail
NOTE:
Slot1: C2NET-Device is never available on a control system operating in
slave mode. All other slots may be configured as described in this manual.
NOTE:
Each port on the master and slave system that requires configuration must
be individually configured. In the example above, a COM port on Slot 3 of the slave
system must be configured separately from any COM port on Slot 4 of the master
system.
Setting the Net ID in Device Settings
Double-click the MC2W icon to open the “Device Settings” window. This window
displays the MC2W device information. If necessary, select the
Net ID
tab to change
the Net ID, as shown in the following figure.
