Troubleshooting

Connection to
your DSL
Router’s home
page
The Web browser does not connect to the DSL Router home page.
You are not using the correct IP address.
Try the following:

Be sure that you have typed the default IP address as 192.168.1.1.

Check your network device’s IP address:
In Windows XP/2000:
1. Click
Start
->
Programs/All Programs
->
Accessories
->
Command
Prompt
.
2. In the window that appears, type
ipconfig/release
, and then press the
Enter
key.
3. Type
ipconfig/renew
, and then press the
Enter
key.
4. Be sure that the IP Address is
192.168.1.x
.
x
may be any number
between 2 and 254.
In Windows Me/98 SE:
1. Click
Start
->
Run
.
2. In the window that appears, type
winipcfg
, and then click the
OK
button.
3. Under
Ethernet Adapter Information
, click your network adapter.
4. Click the
Release
button, and then click the
Renew
button.
5. Be sure that the IP Address is
192.168.1.x
.
