PROBLEM

PROBABLE CAUSES

SOLUTIONS

Cover seal turned
black.

l

The seal has accumulated mold.

l

Clean the affected areas with bleach and a
soft brush. Rinse well with water.

Lights do not work.

l

The lighting assembly is faulty.

l

The light switch is faulty.

l

Check if the power source is enabled.

l

Replace the light switch.

l

If all previous attempts failed, contact your
local authorized Covana dealer.

Magnetic plate is not
holding in place.

l

Excessive tension in the Constant
Tension System (CTS 70).

l

CTS 70 is stuck in place.

l

Lift the side of the outer shell where the cable
exits from the inner shell; remove the CTS 70
from the steel frame and grease the interior
surfaces.

l

Check that the CTS 70 pulley carrier can travel
the length of the CTS 70 without interfering with
any object.
