9 - INSTALLATION - Plumbing
9.1 - Plumbing and gas connections

WARNING! Before installation, carefully wash out

the system to remove any possible residues or impurities

that might compromise operation of the appliance.

To identify the position of the connections, see figures 8-1

and 8-2.

Gas connection

Connecting to the gas must be made to the relative attachment

with a rigid metal pipe. The capacity of the gas meter must be

adequate for the simultaneous use of all the gas appliances

connected to it. Connect the appliance to the gas, as required

by the regulations in force. The diameter of the appliance’s gas

pipe is not a determining factor when choosing the diameter

of the pipe between the appliance and the meter; it must be

chosen according to its length and to head losses.

WARNING! It is recommended that a gas

isolation valve should be installed immediately before

the appliance, in order to allow the gas supply to be

interrupted.

WARNING! It is forbidden to supply the appliance

with a type of gas other than those anticipated.

The appliance requires a water flow rate at an adequate

pressure for it to operate. The flow of water must go from the

appliance to the spa or swimming pool without any component

being able to interrupt the flow. Should the flow rates need to

be adjusted in the various branches, use only diverter valves.

Downstream from the appliance install the chlorinator, between

the chlorinator and the appliance install a check valve.

Between the check valve and the appliance install the correct

safety valve (max. 9 bar).

Adjust the by-pass valve (detail “5” in figure 9-1) so as to

guarantee the correct flow rate of water (see table below):
