collision
due
to
insufficient
space
when
disconnecting
the
drive
shaft!
Disconnect
the
machine
before
disconnecting
the
drive
shaft
from
the
tractor.
This
will
create
enough
space
to
guarantee
safe
disconnection
of
the
drive
shaft.
CAUTION!
Danger
of
burns
due
to
hot
parts
of
the
drive
shaft!
Do
not
touch
the
very
hot
parts
of
the
drive
shaft
(in
particular,
do
not
touch
any
joints).
5.2.2.3.
DISCONNECTING
THE
DRIVE
SHAFT
1.
Disconnect
the
machine
from
the
tractor.
2.
Move
the
tractor
forwards
until
leaving
a
free
space
(around
40/50
cm)
between
the
tractor
and
the
machine.
3.
Make
sure
the
tractor
cannot
be
started
or
moved
accidentally.
4.
Remove
the
drive
shaft
coupling
from
the
tractor
power
take
‐
off.
When
disconnecting
the
drive
shaft,
refer
to
the
user
manual
supplied
with
the
drive
shaft.
5.
Once
uncoupled,
place
the
drive
shaft
in
the
support
provided,
to
protect
it
against
damage
and
prevent
dirt
from
entering.
Never
attach
the
uncoupled
drive
shaft
using
the
support
chain.
6.
Before
long
periods
of
inactivity,
clean
and
grease
the
drive
shaft.
