 3.  Setting  the  Volume

The volume of the pipettor is set by turning the pipetting 

pushbutton (A2) or the black adjustment knob (B). 
The volume display consists of three numbers and is 

read from top to bottom. The three numbers indicate the 

volume selected and are colored black and red.
Red numbers represent decimal fractions for microvolume 

pipettors or milliliters for macrovolume pipettors.
An example for each of these pipettors is given on the 

next page.
