The fields are defined as 16 bit words. Two octets form one word.

PPO Type 1: Length 12 octets.
PPO Type 2: Length 20 octets.
PPO Type 3: Length 4 octets.
PPO Type 4: Length 12 octets.
PPO Type 5: Length 28 octets.
PPO Type 5 continued ….

Figure 5-1 - Parameter process data objects
The abbreviations derive from the PROFIBUS definition of each and
are kept the same to correspond to the PROFIDRIVE terminology:
PKW
= Parameter ID/value
PKE
= Parameter ID
IND =
Sub-index
PWE
= Parameter value
PZD
= Process Data, cyclically transferred
STW
= Control word
HSW
= Main set point
ZSW
= Status word
HIW
= Main actual value
The MVS3007-4002 PROFIBUS card can be configured to any of
PPO types 1 to 5 to provide 2, 6 or 10 reference and monitor words
respectively.
It is recommended that PPO types 1 and 2 are not used as their use
will only consume PROFIBUS communication bandwidth

If at any time the PPO type is changed then it is necessary to power cycle the drive
for the change to take effect.
