Preparing to remove the glass plate
•
Stand at the front of the scanner
•
Insert the tip of each thumb under the front edge of the glass in the middle
area
•
Tip the glass back and up so the two ends are free
NOTE:
Use the flat tool again if you cannot get your thumbs underneath.
Lifting out the glass plate
•
Move your hands one at a time to each end of the glass
•
Apply light pressure with each hand as you lift the glass out of the scanner
CAUTION
: The glass plate is fragile. Take care not to break it.
