Assembly CONTROL 702
The unit must be restricted to indoor use only.
Authorised personnel must carry out all work under the relevant local and
national guidelines.
Note to VDE Guidelines
The relevant local and IEE regulations must be observed. The sensor cables
carry low voltage and should not share a trunking with cables carrying more
than 50 V.
Note on Electrical Wiring
The pin assignments of inputs and outputs occur under the controller
connection information in Section 5.13 and 5.14.
Note on the Position of the Collector Sensor
The sensor should be mounted on the last possible absorber plate
(TUBO 12), so as to be able to pick up the maximum insolation.
If a pocket is used (PLANO 27), a good contact must be made
between the sensor and the pocket. The use of heat conducting
paste is recommended. In no case should the sensor be mounted
outside of the collector.
Incorrect positioning of the sensor can lead to inaccurate
collector temperature measurement and thus the controller will
not function correctly.

Mounting the CONTROL 702
Caution
The controller should only be opened after the power has been disconnected
from it. Risk of electrical stock and death!
Note for Mounting the Controller
The template, included, should be used to mount the controller.
The controller consists of two plastic housing. As standard both housing are
assembled one on top of the other. The controller can be split to fit side by
side, which is possible with the separately available cover (RE123)
Top cover (with disply, control buttons and LED status indicators).
