Note: Mains Voltage
When mains voltage is applied to the controller, a green LED ‘Power’ light
(top right hand side of the front cover) will be illuminated.
230V cables (inputs and outputs) are installed on the left hand side of the
controller, whilst the sensor cables (inputs) and network cable is to be installed
on the right.
All cables must be secured by the cable clamps and screws provided, as
shown in the photograph adjacent.
NOTE!
The connection plugs indicate whether they are inputs or outputs, thus ensuring
the appropriate connections are made correctly.
6.2.2
Electrical Connection
The CONTROL 602 is powered by an external power supply 230 V ± 10 %
(50-60 Hz). The connections are made to the terminals L/ N/ PE (see drawing
adjacent).
6.2.3
Outputs
Note:
Control relays and contactors are connected to the outputs of the CONTROL
602 and 702. These may not be `Hum-free’. A`Hum-free’ contctor can lead
to a shutdown of the controller output and is not reliable. Check the outputs
and the connected loads after startup and treat with respect. We rocmmend
the use of Consolar contactors (RE080 und RE081).
6.2.3.1
Outputs
The outputs 1...7 are respectively 230 V outputs. These outputs are connected
to terminals A1 through to A7.
Output 8 is a potential free contact. The output should be connected to the
terminals A8 (UA, UM, UB). If the output 8 is switched, contacts M-A are
closed.
