In “AV mode”, this button starts or stops a recording. In “setup mode”, this button
serves as confirmation button.
e) Saving data on the SD card
The monitor can only detect data if this was saved in the correct folder.
Image data, .ASF as well as .JPG must be saved in the folder “DCIM/100MEDIA”.
Audio files, .MP3 as well as .WAV must be saved in the folder “MP3”.
Text files (.TXT, also called e-book files), must be saved in the folder “TXT”.

This folder structure applies for the utilisation of an SD card as
well as for direct saving of the files in the internal monitor mem-
ory (approx. 32 MB).
f) Connecting the monitor with the PC
You can connect the monitor to the PC via the enclosed USB cable. To do so, con-
nect the mini USB plug of the USB cable to the port “USB port” (18) of the monitor
and the other end to a free USB port on your PC/laptop.
The monitor has an internal memory of approx. 32 MB and is also detected as a
bulk memory. If an SD card is inserted in the monitor, this is also detected as a bulk
memory. Therefore, your PC (or laptop) detects up to two bulk memories.
9. AV mode
While the monitor is in operation, press the button “PMP/AV 13” to switch to
AV mode.
