A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g.
danger of an electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates to you particular risks in
handling, operating and control.

The “hand” symbol indicates special tips and operating information.1
4. Safety instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred
resulting from non-compliance with the operating instructions.
Liability for any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal dam-
age caused by improper use or non-compliance with the safety
instructions. In such cases the guarantee is voided.
• The system components must not be modified or converted,
as not only the CE approval will become void but also the
warranty.
• Ensure proper ventilation of the surveillance camera resp.
the monitor and the mains adapters. Never operate the sys-
tem components when they are covered.
• Do not touch leaking or oxidised batteries with your bare
hands. Use protective gloves.
• The system components may not be exposed to extreme
temperatures, dampness, direct sunlight, intense vibration or
heavy mechanical strain. This may lead to malfunctions
and/or defects.
• The operation of the surveillance system does not replace per-
sonal supervision of children or people who require special
assistance, but serves only as a support to this supervision.
