17. Maintenance and Cleaning
A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient to clean the outside of the camera, the moni-
tor or the remote control.
Clean the camera lens and the display monitor carefully in order to prevent
scratches.
Ensure that the system does not have a power supply to it while you are cleaning it.
This product does not have any serviceable parts apart from those described
herein.
18. Disposal
a) General
Please dispose of the unserviceable device according to the current statutory
requirements.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As an end user you are legally obligated (Battery regulation) to dispose of used
disposable and rechargeable batteries properly; it is not permitted to dispose of
used batteries/rechargeable batteries in the domestic refuse!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are
marked with the following symbols, they point out that they are not
allowed to be disposed of in the domestic refuse. The designations
for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb
= lead.
You can hand in your used batteries/rechargeable batteries at the
official collection points of your community at no cost or everywhere
where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the
environment!
