12.1 “Motion Detection” Submenu
This menu allows you to activate (=option ON) or deactivate (=Option OFF) motion
sensing.
If motion sensing is activated and a movement is recognised on a camera channel
currently displayed on the screen, a video recording will be started (factory setting
for duration is 5 seconds although it can be set in the “FRAME RATE” menu) and
saved to the SD card (if inserted).

This function is a basic prerequisite for further functions which
are based on automatic motion recognition.
Button functions:
Press the “Up“”(B) or “Down” (I) button on the remote control to mark the desired
option.
Press the “ENTER” button (C) on the remote control to save the settings and to exit
the “Motion Detection” menu.
12.2 “MD Setup” Submenu
The submenu “MD Setup” contains further submenus such as “Sensitivity” and
“Area Setting”.
