• Maintenance, adjustment and repair may only be carried out
by a qualified specialist or a specialised repair shop.
• The camera features infrared LEDs for night vision. Please
note that the images turn from colour to black/white with
increasing darkness and the resulting activation of the IR-
LEDs.
• For any unanswered questions please contact our customer
service or other specialists.
• Only insert an SD card into the SD card slot when the monitor
is not in operation. The same applies for removing the card
from the SD card slot.
5. Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable
Batteries
• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying about openly. There is a risk
that the batteries can be swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a
doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries might cause acid burns if
they come into contact with skin, therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
• Make sure that the batteries and rechargeable batteries are neither short-circuit-
ed nor thrown into a fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge
rechargeable batteries intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• During longer periods of disuse (e.g. when storing) remove the batteries or
rechargeable batteries. If they become excessively old there is a danger they will
leak and cause damage to the product, voiding the guarantee/warranty!

able batteries, please read the chapter “Disposal”.
