Right-click on the port you wish to observe, and choose
Port Properties
. A window will open
with three tabs:
General, Port Settings
and
Driver
.
The
General
properties include port and COM number, serial number, device type, manufacturer
and location.

The
Port Settings
tab gives the user access to the basic port setting options: Bits per second, Data bits,
Parity, Stop bits and Flow control. There is also an option to reset all port settings to their default settings.
