CONNECTION OF A HUMIDITY SENSOR
With the aid of a humidity sensor, the shut-off valve can be closed upon detection of a leak (see chapter 11
“ACCESSORIES”). The humidity sensor comprises 2 stainless steel electrodes, that are located approxi-
mately 2 mm above the floor. Triggering takes place if the electrodes are connected by a water film. The
water must have conductivity of greater than 100 μ S/cm.

CONNECTION OF A LAN CABLE
The device can be remotely controlled via a LAN cable connected to the CLEAR BOX (see chapter 11 “AC-
CESSORIES”).

SERVICE/REPAIR
If this is ignored, the result may be uncontrolled egress of water resulting in water damage to the building/
home. Therefore the instructions given in chapter 5 “INSTALLATION” and chapter 7 “MAINTENANCE”
must be strictly observed.
6.18
CONVERSIONS/CHANGES/SPARE PARTS
Before performing work on the leak protection system that goes beyond pure op-
erational use, the leak protection system must be depressurised!
Only original spare parts may be used!
Unauthorised conversions and changes are forbidden for safety reasons. These
can impair the function of the leak protection system, leading to leaks and, in the
worse case, to bursting of the leak protection system. The imprinted approval
marks are only valid if original spare parts are used.
