INSTALLATION OF THE LEAK PROTECTION SYSTEM
The built-in rotary flange for the water leak protection system is equipped with bayonet holes. The neces-
sary seals and screws are pre-assembled on the leak protection system.
/
First flush the pipe with the newly installed built-in rotary flange. The built-in rotary flange is still sealed
by the black mounting cover.
/
Then shut-off the water again (at the stopcock or isolating valve) and remove the black mounting cover
of the built-in rotary flange.
/
Insert the heads of the four M6×100 hexagon socket head screws through the bayonet holes on the
built-in rotary flange (see fig. 4 I).
/
Screw the water leak protection system fully home in a clockwise direction (see fig. 4 II).
/
Tighten the four M6×100 hexagon socket head screws.
The profile of the profiled flange gasket must point towards the built-in rotary flange (see fig. 3). If this is
not observed, water leaks may occur resulting in water damage to the home and furnishings and equip-
ment.
Do not undo the screws!
Select the tightening torque (about 4 Nm) so that the seal is effective and the wa-
ter leak protection system is not damaged or strained!
