CONNECTIONS
3.1 Overview – Cabling Connection Types
Comtech EF Data’s Advanced VSAT Series group of products, including the CDD-880 Multi
Receiver Router, use a number of different cables. Each cable type is typically dedicated to a
specific mode of operation.

Not all of these operational interface types may be available.
2)
The European EMC Directive (EN55022, EN50082-1) requires using properly
shielded cables for DATA I/O. These cables must be double-shielded from end-to-
end, ensuring a continuous ground shield.
