5. If you do not have an indication that confirms a correct cable connection,
swap the transmit and receive connectors on one end of the cable and
recheck the indicators.
6. If you still do not have a correct cable connection, you probably have a
bad cable.
7.4 ATMworks Adapter LEDs
The ATMworks adapter has two LEDS that indicate the status of the
adapter and its connections to the network, the Network LED, and the
Module LED. The Network LED is labeled with a number sign (#) under the
LED. The Module LED is labeled with an incomplete circle under the LED.
The meaning of the LEDs is shown in Table 7–1.
Table 7–1: ATMworks Adapter LEDs
Network LED Module LED Description
Off Off PCI slot is not receiving power, or the
ATMworks driver has not been loaded.
Off/Amber/Green Green ATMworks driver is loaded and
the module is OK.
Amber Amber ATMworks adapter is in reset mode.
Off Amber The adapter diagnostics failed.
Green Green/Off A physical link connection has been made.
Amber Green There is no physical link connection.
