Description
Restricted TCN When enabled, the port will not propagate received topology change notifications
and topology changes to other ports. If set, it will cause temporary disconnection
after changes in an active spanning trees topology as a result of persistent incorrectly
learned station location information. It is set by a network administrator to prevent
bridges outside a core region of the network from causing address flushing in that
region because those bridges are not under the full control of the administrator or is the
physical link state for the attached LANs transitions frequently.
Point2Point
Configures whether the port connects to a point-to-point LAN rather than a shared
medium. This can be configured automatically or set to true or false manually. Transiting
to forwarding state is faster for point-to-point LANs than for shared media.
