Press down on the base and pull the
Lower Anchor Strap as tight as possible.
Excess Lower Anchor Strap can be passed
back under the routing lugs and through the
built-in Locking Clip.
See page 31 for information on using the
built-in Locking Clip.

Check that the base is securely held.
If the base moves easily more than 25 mm
(1") to either side, try another position, or
do not use the infant car seat in the vehicle.
WARNING: DO NOT use the infant car
seat if it is not securely connected
to the base.
When installing the base, ensure the bottom
of the base is in contact with the vehicle seat.
NOTE: See additional information on
page 33 about putting extra support
under the front of the base.
FITTING THE INFANT CAR SEAT INTO
THE BASE.
Before putting the infant car seat into the base
make sure there are no objects on or in the
base.
Connect the infant car seat to the base.
NOTE: listen for a "CLICK" when the infant
car seat is installed into the base, and lift
the infant car seat to ensure the infant car
seat is fully connected to the base.

"CLICK"
To remove the infant car seat from the base,
pull firmly upwards on the release lever at the
rear of the infant car seat, and lift the infant
car seat upwards.
