WARNING
DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur
DO NOT use infant car seat on vehicle seats
that face the side or the rear of the vehicle.
The carry handle must be up when the
infant car seat is used in a vehicle.
To rotate the carry handle, press in both
release buttons on the sides of the handle
at the same time, hold them in, and rotate.
See page 5 for important information about use of this infant car
seat in a vehicle with an air bag.
Infant car seat must be reclined as shown in these instructions, and on
the labels:
- too reclined can result in injury or ejection,
- too upright can result in breathing difficulties.
According to accident statistics, children age 12 and under are safer
when properly restrained in a rear seating position, rather than a front
seating position.
Refer to the vehicle owner's manual for infant car seat installation
instructions.
After installing infant car seat into base, lift infant car seat to ensure
it is securely locked into the base.
DO NOT use infant car seat in base if it is not securely locked into place.
