8.5 Fan Voltage
This option is used to set the output voltage of the Fans ports. If fans are installed on the treadmill system, the
fan speed (by applied voltage) can be adjusted to provide necessary ventilation.
The list of voltages are as follows:
•
12.0 (fast)
•
8.0
•
6.0
•
5.0 (slow)
8.6 Unit ID
This option is used to set the CI-Bus address of the Treadmill Controller. The Unit ID should be unique and not
match the address of another device which is connected to the same CI-Bus Switch Mini. The Unit ID can range
from 1 to 254 (220 typical).
Notes about Device Addressing
A Treadmill Controller, Treadmill Stimulus Detection and Incline Controller can all be used together as a group to control
the facilities of one treadmill system. The Treadmill Software supports up to four groups. The Unit ID of the devices in
each group must adhere to the following specification:

8.7 Baud Rate
This option is used to set the CI-Bus communication speed. The baud rate can be changed through the course
of an experiment through computer control. If the unit fails to respond to computer queries, this option can be
used to view and change the communication baud rate as necessary.
The list of baud rates are as follows
•
19200 (typical)
•
38400
•
56700
•
115200
•
128000
•

8.8 AutoCal Speed
It is recommended to calibrate the treadmill belt speed and acceleration every 3 months. The calibration
procedure is as follows:
