Getting Started
1. Unpack the fryer and make sure to remove all packing and protective material.
2. Wash the frying basket and container before using.
3. First lift the basket from the container, and then carefully lift the container straight up
from the fryer.
4. Wash both the basket and the fryer in warm water.
5. The container and basket can be rinsed in water. The fryer itself can never be submerged or
rinsed with water. Dry only with paper towels or damp cloth. Note: The fryer’s parts should not
be put in the dishwasher.
6. Replace the container and frying basket.
7. Mount the lid onto the fryer’s hinge fitting by holding the lid vertically and carefully fitting it into
the fryer’s hinge fitting. Make sure that the lid is able to shut properly.
Use
1. First, follow the instructions in the “Getting Started”
section.
2. Lift out the frying basket (5) from the fryer and fill the
container (2) with frying oil (max. 1.5 litres) of good
quality and recommended for frying.
Note: It is important that the amount of frying oil
lies between the MIN and MAX markings in the oil
container. Never overfill the oil container.
3. Close the lid (1) and connect the power lead to an earthed power point.
4. Set the thermostat (4) to the desired temperature. The indicator lamp (3) lights up.
Refer to the table for times and temperatures for different types of food.
5. The indicator light will shut off when the oil reaches the desired temperature.
The oil needs about 10-15 min. to reach operating temperature.
6. Fill the frying basket with the food that you wish to be fried (being careful not to overfill). Lower
the basket into the container, close the lid and fry for the appropriate amount of time according
to a recipe or the cooking guide table.
7. When frying is finished, open the lid and lift out the frying basket. Hang the basket on the edge
of the container (with the help of the holder on basket) and let the oil run off approx. 20 sec.
before lifting it completely out of the fryer and taking out the food.
8. Adjust the amount of oil in relation to the amount of food to be fried before using the fryer
for a second time.
9. Turn off the fryer and pull out the plug immediately after use.
