Tip:
Select the temperature in relation to type of food being fried. Food that has already been
pre-cooked does not need to be cooked as long as raw ingredients.
Care and maintenance
1. Pull out the power plug and make sure that the oil has cooled (1-2 hours after use) before cleaning.
2. First lift the basket from the container, and then carefully lift the container from the fryer.
3. Empty the rest of the used oil in an appropriate container. The oil can be filtered and re-used
but should be changed after 5-6 times or about 2 weeks if unused. Never pour oil down the
drain or onto land or into watercourses. Take any used oil to your local recycling station.
4. Wash both the basket and the fryer in warm water. The fryer itself can never be submerged
or rinsed with water. Dry only with paper towels or a damp cloth.
5. The exterior of the fryer can be wiped dry with a slightly moistened cloth.
6. Make sure that the fryer and its parts are completely dry before using again.
Note: Never lower the deep fryer into water or other liquids.
Cleaning the lid
1. Remove the lid from the fryer by lifting it up and carefully pulling it straight up out of the hinges.
2. Wash the lid in warm water and a small amount of dishwashing liquid. Rinse with
cold water and let dry.
3. Carefully replace the lid back in fryer’s hinge fitting.
Cleaning the filter
1. Open the filter holder on the fryer’s lid by pushing in the opening tab and lifting simultaneously.
2. Remove the filter and clean with warm soapy water. Let the fryer air dry.
3. Clean the inside of the filter holder with a moistened cloth and then dry it off.
4. Return the filter to the filter holder with the white innermost part first (towards the container)
and the black filter lying over.
5. Replace the filter holder’s cover.
Filtering the oil
1. Empty the cooled oil in a bucket or other suitable container.
2. Filter the oil through e.g. a coffee filter.
Storage
Make sure that the fryer has cooled completely before moving it.
Store the fryer in a dry location and away from the reach of children.
