SECTION 4: TYPICAL USAGE
Enabling / Disabling Float Paydown
When the changer is in Float Mode, the Float Paydown feature causes the changer to route all
accepted coins to the tubes until they are full; the balance then go to the cashbox. Float Paydown is
commonly used to ensure the maximum change making-capability is always available without having
to manually fi ll the changer during the route visit. Float Paydown is defaulted to “off” (disabled) in the
original factory changer setup.

For both the Guardian 6000 & Guardian E6, the changer will initiate the Float Paydown (pay out all
coins in excess of the fl oat setting) when the user presses the following hotkeys:
