5) Operation of Battery
If control panel is DVB, disconnect the main power supply. The control panel must activate the
buzzer, turn off the led "Red" (letter G in Figure 10), and turn on the led "Batteries" (letter H of
Figure 10).
After verifying that the system is stable and remains working normally, reconnect the main
power supply. The battery led (letter H of Figure 10) must be switch off and the led (Led G of
Figure 10) on.
9.3
Sensors (each 12 months)
Maintenance operations to be performed on the sensors are the followings:
1) Date of manufacture
Check the date of manufacture of the sensor. If exceeded their lifetime, it must be replaced.
Note: See Chapter 3 to take into account the storage and installation time.
2) Check sensor operation
Put zones in test mode by pressing the "test mode" (letter D of Figure 10) in control panel. In
this mode, the sensor led behavior is modified and all relays of all zones are disabled.
Face each sensor to test gas (at least 100 ppm of CO or 2 ppm of NO
2
). The sensor will perform
double flash, indicating that it has detected the rising concentration of toxic gas.
The control panel allows also to test by zone through the menu 5 (Chapter 10), option 4, or
disable it with option 5.
