Start-up of the installation
For the start-up of the installation of control panel, follow these steps:
1. Install the control panel to vertical surface passing the wires through the holes of the box (see
section 4.1).
2. Connect the wiring of the ventilation 1 and ventilation 2 outputs (ventilation 2 only in DVB
models), alarm, fault and auxiliary 30 Vdc (see section 4.3.2).
3. Connect the wiring of the sensors in each zone with the corresponding zone at the CPU
circuit (see section 4.3.3).
4. Connect the power supply line to the control panel.
5. Connect the power supply to the control panel and batteries.
6. At electrically connection of the equipment, sensors flashes for a few seconds indicating that
the cycle of connection and communication with control panel has begun.
7. During the starting period, the central display on the display a report with information on the
number and type of sensors found in each zone for 5 minutes. It must be verify that this
information corresponds to the sensors installed in each zone. For accepting configuration
("ENTER" key), configuration will be stored in memory and enter into work mode. If not
accepted ("ESC" key), control panel will store in memory the configuration that already has in
memory and enter into work mode.
NOTE: The control panel recognizes all sensors from its programming number, which is
indicated on the label of the sensor. If necessary, control panel can label sensors with the
programming number reference. Thus, during monitoring or identification of incidences, control
panel will show this information (label), which can be very useful for quick and easy
identification of all sensors within the facility.
8. The display of information is performed on the front of the central control panel. It has a
number of features directly accessible (see Chapter 6). All other functionality is performed
through the menu (see Chapter 8). Configure control panel according to the needs of the
installation (ventilation levels, time delays, etc).
NOTE: The control unit has different access levels (see Chapter 7). For this reason it is required
appropriate access code to run the different functions available.
9. The control unit must be in working condition with the power supply led on (letter G in Figure
10).
10. In work mode, the sensor LED:
- Flash about every 10 seconds: Indicates communication between sensor and control panel.
- Double flash every 10 seconds: Indicates that the instantaneous concentration read is equal or
higher than the ventilation 1 and 2 concentration level (ventilation 2 in DVB only models).
- ON: Indicates that instantaneous concentration red is equal or higher than alarm concentration
level.
