MAIN COVER CONDUIT ASSEMBLY
Gather the parts:
• Pipe 1.315'' x 75'' swaged
• Pipe 1.315" x XX.X" plain (#131P0XXX)
• Main cover and Tek screws
Assembly Procedure
The main cover is attached and secured to the main frame
assembly with straps and ratchets. The ends (front and
back) of the main cover are secured to each corner using a
ratchet attached to the end rafters. The straps to secure the
ends of the main cover come pre-installed in the cover.
NOTE:
When handling the main cover and setting it in
position, do not pull on the end straps of the bonnet portion
of the cover. They will pull out of the cover.
a. Locate all sections of pipe needed to assemble the
cover conduit.
b. Insert the swaged end of each pipe into the plain
end of another pipe until the conduit is assembled.
2. After assembling the cover conduits, locate the main
cover, clear an area along one side of the frame, and
unfold the cover along the cleared side near the frame.
NOTE:
Unfold the main cover with the inside surface
facing up.
Position the cover so the black straps are at
each end.
NOTE:
Building shown above may be of a different
length than actual building. Cover installation is the
same.
Do not insert the cover conduits into the end pockets
where the black straps are located.
3. Locate the cover ends with strapping and align the
cover with the front and back of the shelter.
4. Insert the cover conduits into the pockets of the main
cover and continue with the cover installation.
FINAL FRAME CHECK
1. Verify that all connectors, purlins, pipe joints, and
tubing are secured with Tek screws.
2. Check the frame assembly for sharp edges or Tek
screws that may interfere with the installation of the
main cover. Reposition Tek screws as needed.
3. Use duct tape to tape any areas of the frame that may
damage the main cover when it is installed.
c. Secure each pipe joint with a Tek screw and tape
over the screws using duct tape.

WARNING:
To prevent damage to the cover and to
prevent serious personal injury, DO NOT attempt to
install the main cover on windy days.
1. Assemble two main cover conduits. Start each conduit
assembly with one plain pipe and add swaged pipes to
arrive at the correct length.
This conduit is identical to
the purlins of the outrigger frames.
3. Assemble the 3/8" eyebolt and install as shown below.
4. Repeat the steps to attach the remaining eyebolt to the
end rafter leg of the center frame. Align the eyebolts
to allow for the installation of the security clip or a
customer-supplied padlock.
5. Install the door handle in the desired location. Door
handle is attached using Tek screws.
