14. Measure the opening along the frame to determine the
required width for the final row of panels.
ATTACH OUTRIGGER PANELS (CONTINUED)
15. Select a panel and mark the dimension on the panel.
NOTE:
Measure from the edge of the panel that has
the rib with the anti-siphon groove.
Do not remove the
rib with anti-siphon groove.
This rib is placed under
the rib of the previous panel to complete the panel
installation for the side.
16. Cut the panel to the required width.
PANELS ARE SHARP. HANDLE WITH GLOVES AND
USE CAUTION WHEN CUTTING THE PANEL!
17. Slide the upper edge of the panel under the previous
panel and secure it to the frame.
ATTENTION:
Attach the lower panel edge of all panels
in this row to the base rail using Tek screws and neo-
bonded washers spaced evenly along the rail.
18. Continue preparing and attaching panels to complete
the last row for this outrigger frame.
19. Repeat the procedure to install the metal panels for the
remaining outrigger frame.
20. After the panels are installed on the outrigger frames,
continue by attaching the panels to the rafters of
the main frame.
Install these panels using the same
method of overlapping described above.
After installing all outrigger
roof and end panels, attach
the panels to the inside of
the main frame.
NOTE:
The frame diagram above shows the metal
panels attached to the inside of the main frame of the
building. Information describing how to install these
panels is presented in the next procedure.
Insert shows a power tool used to
cut a panel to the required width.
Use a similar tool to when cutting
metal panels.
Cut and slide last row
of panels into place.
