11 Care, maintenance and repair

11.1 Care by cleaning

The house water system should always be kept in a
clean condition.

Clean the pre-filter at regular intervals, remove the
cover, put out the filter vertically and rinse it under clean
water.

All plastic parts and painted surfaces should be cleaned
with a soft, damp cloth and some neutral detergent.

11.2 Maintenance and repair

Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by
qualified personnel.

If the water pump does not work properly, contact a de

aler or our customer service. The contact details can be
found in chapter 1.2 Customer Service.

All protection and safety equipment must be reinstalled
immediately after completion of repair and maintenance
work.

Make sure the pump is off before performing any main

tenance or repair.

Regular maintenance and careful care reduce the risk of
possible malfunctions and help extend the life of your de

vice. To prevent possible malfunctions, we recommend
regularly checking the suction hoses for water leaks.

When storing the product in winter, it must be ensured
that there is no water in the appliance, as otherwise the
frost effect would destroy the appliance. For any trans

-

port, the pump must be disconnected from the mains!
The pump must be completely emptied and stored in a
frost-proof condition.

Only a regularly maintained and well maintained device
can be a satisfactory tool. Maintenance and care defi

-

ciencies can lead to unpredictable accidents and inju

-

ries.

ATTENTION!

Before maintenance work, the pump must be dis-
connected from the mains. If it is not disconnected
from the mains, u.a the risk of unintentional starting of
the pump can occur.

NOTE!

The warranty does not cover the parts of the water
pump that have been treated by the operator as
being abusive or negligent. For a full warranty, the
operator must operate the water pump as described
in the instructions.
For proper operation of the water pump, regular adju

-

stments must be made.

ATTENTION!

Never use solvents to clean plastic parts or painted
surfaces. A surface release and consequential da

-

mage may occur.

Use protective gloves!

NOTE!

If the device is not used for a long time, the water in
the pump should be drained. The pump body, impel-
ler and bracket should be cleaned and coated with
anti-corrosion oil before storing in a well-ventilated dry
place.

ATTENTION!

Maintenance and repair must always be carried out
by qualified personnel; any damages parts can only
be replaced by original spare parts.

ATTENTION!

Longer standing water can corrode in the pump
housing due to the design! (Brown discoloration)
