PRE-EMERGENCE MARKERS
Depending on your machine specifications pre-emergence markers may be fitted to your machine. This
optional extra allows tramline marks to be made visible behind the drill, therefore making it easier to
apply pre-emergence sprays. Images of the marker can be seen below. Figure 43.

FIELD USE
The pre-emergence markers will be activated when the target tramline bout number is reached. If the
markers are not leaving enough of a visible scratch mark during use then the aggressiveness of them
can be altered. This is achieved by slackening the retaining bolts and turning the stub axel anti-clockwise
(Figure 44).
Once the points have become worn it may be advisable to extend the marker points using the extra
holes. This is accomplished by removing the two bolts (Figure 45), sliding the point further down the tine
and reinserting the bolts. This will ensure a clear mark is left behind the drill.
