The level board height is altered on thee adjuster located on the swivel beams (Figure 42). The levelling
boards can be lifted completely out of work with this adjuster or have some downward pressure applied
to them. Depending on the field conditions the following batter-board settings are recommended and
should be achieved using the adjuster:
•
Wet conditions
- Remove pressure from batter-boards.
•
Dry conditions
- Apply pressure to ski boards.
•
Ideal conditions
- Zero pressure (top link becomes loose during work)
