SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1. Always read the manual before use.

2. Be aware that the soldering tips of the gun and iron get extremely hot and 

remain hot for a period of time after the power has been switched off.

3. When the Iron is not in use or is cooling down, it should be rested on the 

stand provided,on a stable surface.

4. When the gun is not in use, or is cooling down it should be laid flat on a 

stable surface with the tip away from any flammable materials or other 
potential hazard.

5. Before applying heat to any surface, ensure that there are no flammable 

materials, or any materials that can be damaged by heat in the vicinity.

6. When soldering always ensure that there is adequate ventilation, as solder 

and fluxes give off toxic fumes which could be dangerous.

7. When soldering electric circuits ensure that the power is disconnected 

before  commencing work.

8. If you are cutting plastics with the kit, ensure that the area is well ventilated 

as plastic fumes can be toxic.

9. Wear eye protection as there is the potential fro fluxes to spit when heated.

10. Keep children away when using hot appliances.
