Radio Operations
PTY (Program Type) function
This function enables you to listen to a
broadcast of the specified program type
when the broadcast starts, even if the system
operates in a mode other than the Tuner mode.
Some countries do not yet have PTY broadcast.
In the TA standby mode, a TP station has
priority over a PTY broadcast station.
Selecting PTY
1. Touch the
[List]
key.
2. If the PTY standby mode is OFF, touch
[PTY]
button to set PTY standby mode ON.
[PTY]
button will be lighted, and “PTY” will be
displayed at the top of the screen. Touch the
button again to set PTY standby mode OFF.
3. Touch
[PTY Select]
button to display the PTY
Select screen.
4. Touch your desired PTY preset key to select
the program type.
5. Touch
[PTY Select]
button to return to the
previous screen.
Changing the PTY language
1. Touch the
[List]
key.
2. Touch the
[PTY Select]
key.
3. Touch the
[PTY Lang.]
key to display the PTY
language screen.
4. Touch the desired Language key.
5. Touch the
[PTY Lang.]
button again to return
to the previous screen.
PTY Seek
1. Touch the
[List]
key and
[PTY Select]
key.
2. Touch the
[
P-Seek
]
or
[
P-Seek
]
key to Seek the
frequencies up or down.
