See figure A1 (dimensions in mm) .
Mounting the wall bracket
•
Before attaching the wall bracket to the wall, ensure that the remote
control has radio contact to the instantaneous water heater from its
designated position.
• The wall bracket of the remote control can either be attached securely
with the included adhesive tape, after stripping off the protection film
(as shown in the fig . A3) on a plain surface (e .g . a tile) or with suitable
dowels (Ø 4 mm) and screws (as shown in the fig . A4) . Dimensions
in mm .
• When mounting with adhesive tape, ensure that the mounting surface
is dry and free of grease and soap .
• When using the adhesive tape it is not possible to adjust the position
afterwards because of the strong adherence of the glue . Therefore,
pay attention to a horizontal alignment when attaching it .
• The remote control is magnetically retained at the wall bracket .
5. Installation
Mounting the radio adapter inside a instantaneous water heater
With the CFX, DFX and DSX Touch models, the radio adapter is already
installed at the factory.
• Before assembling the transmission unit disconnect the instantaneous
water heater from the mains supply!
• Pay attention to the proper position of the connector!
• The connector has to be fitted into the notch properly .
1 . Open the instantaneous water heater according to the manual of the
appliance .
2 . Plug the radio adapter onto the electronics (see fig . A5 or A6) . If nec-
essary, remove the electronics cover first .
3 . Replace the bonnet and fasten it .
