Controlling the camera of one of the other participants
Within video conferencing the term
far end
is often used to refer to the
one you are talking to.
Far end is an ambiguous term in
video conferencing, since there is
more than just one far end.
Consequently, you must start by
defining whose camera you are
going to control.
Once you have defined this, the
procedure is identical to the one
explained in
“Controlling the camera
of the other participant” on page
28
.
The ability to control a far end
camera requires that the far
end system camera is remotely
adjustable. The feature cannot be
applied to systems with a manual
camera adjustment.
You will not have access to any
presets that may exist on the far end
video system.
About camera control
Tap the participant
whose camera you
want to control.
Then tap
Camera
, as outlined.
This will invoke the
Camera
control
dialog box, whose use
is explained in
“Controlling
the camera of the other
participant” on page 28
.
