MODEM

Activate the USB modem

The C810 comes with a USB modem pre-installed. You can use the modem for rapid data transfer, but first
you must activate it.

1. In the Home screen, press [Start], select Settings and press OK.
2. Scroll to Connections and press OK.
3. Select

Modem Link

and press OK.

4. Use the left and right Navigation Keys to select status.
5. Select

Active.

6. Press

[Done]

Deactivate the USB modem

When not in use, it is possible to deactivate the USB modem. This will allow you to use the ActiveSync
program.

1. In the Home screen, press [Start], select Settings and press OK.
2. Scroll to Connections and press OK.
3. Select

Modem Link

and press OK.

4. Use the left and right Navigation Keys to select status.
5. Select

Inactive.

6. Press

[Done]

NOTE:

You must deactivate the USB modem if you want to use ActiveSync.
