Service
Cinderella operates in a very corrosive environment with working temperatures approaching
600°C. As a consequence, service may eventually be required. Remember that preventive main-
tenance could significantly postpone the requirement for service. Maintenance/service performed
on electric components, including replacing the mains cable, must be performed by authorized
personnel. Contact the supplier of your toilet when it requires service. If you need to send the toilet
to a service/maintenance shop, some simple rules should be observed:
• The ash container must be emptied and the toilet cleaned before shipping.
• Pack the toilet in protective material before transport. We recommend the use of cardboard
boxes and putting plastic bubble wrap around the toilet in order to prevent any damage during
transport.
Complaints and guarantees
The product is subject to the provisions of the Sale of Goods Act.
The guarantee covers manufacturing errors and component failure during normal use. Problems
due to the following faults and errors are not covered:
• incorrect installation.
• incorrect use.
• incorrect handling.
• transport damage.
• damage caused by lightning strike.
• the use of non-original bags.
Cinderella operates in a corrosive environment at high temperatures. Over a period of time and dependent
on frequency of use, certain parts such as the spark plug, fan, catalyser and ash container insert which are
subject to wear will require to be replaced. These parts are not covered under guarantee. Where a wea-
ring part fails due to reasons by the customer to be other than normal wear, complaints must be made
within 2 years (3 years in Nordic countries) of the date of purchase. If the toilet develops a fault within 2
years (3 years in Nordic countries) of the date of purchase, the customer should contact their local dealer
or distributor at once, report the failure and cease further use of the toilet. If a faulty toilet continues to be
used after the fault is reported, the guarantee may be voided. Once reported, the customer is responsible
for arranging secure packaging and shipping of the toilet to the nearest sales outlet, service centre or
distributor. Any repairs required must only be performed by authorised service and repair personnel. Any
faults or damage recognised as not covered by the guarantee will be reported to the customer and any
subsequent repair/replacement agreed with the customer will work will be quoted and charged to the
customer. Special terms and conditions apply to the professional market.
