4.4 Fan Assemblies
4.4.1 Replace Fan #1 (Lamp Blower Fan)
Remove the Lamp Blower Fan
(25 minutes)
1. Remove the top cover. See Remove the Top Cover .
2. Remove the card cage. See Remove the Card Cage Assembly .
3. Disconnect the fan #1 harness from the side of the card cage mount
bracket.
4. Remove (6) 3 mm hex screws from the card cage bracket. Remove the
bracket.
NOTE:
Once the card cage bracket is removed, there is a thermal
insulator which is not secured. This insulator can be removed or left in
place to continue the procedure.
