Section 4: Parts and Module Replacement
4.8.2 Remove the Shutter Assembly
(15 minutes)
1. Remove the top cover. See Remove the Top Cover .
2. Remove (3) 3 mm hex screws from the transparent
engine duct. Remove the engine duct.
3. Remove (12) #2 Phillips® screws from the metal lid on
the top of the card cage. Remove the lid.
4. Remove (2) #2 Phillips® screws from the prism, as
shown.
5. Remove the shutter harness from the routing clip as
shown.
6. Disconnect the shutter harness from the panel driver
and remove.
7. Remove (2) #2 Phillips® screws, which secure the light dump. Remove the light dump and set aside to be
installed on the new shutter.
4.8.3 Remove the LiteLOC™ Assembly
(11 minute)
1. Remove the top cover. See Remove the Top Cover .
2. Remove the light engine louver. See Remove the Light Engine Louver .
3. Remove the LiteLOC™ sensor harness from the LiteLOC™ assembly.
4. Remove (2) #1 Phillips® screws, which secure the LiteLOC™ sensor assembly to the fold mirror. Loosen
the screw located at the bottom of the LiteLOC™.
5. Pull the LiteLOC™ assembly up and away from the mirror to remove the LiteLOC™ assembly.
