1.3 Projector Overview
The J Series 1000W and 1200W is a family of high resolution video/graphics 3-chip 1080p HD, SXGA+ and
WUXGA projectors. These projectors are based on DLP® technology provided by Texas Instruments.

1.3.1 List of Components
Make Sure the following components were received with the projector:
• IR remote keypad (includes (2) 1.5V AA batteries and an XLR to mini-stereo cable for wired applications)
• Lens Mount Security Screw (M6-by-10 mm long, Quantity: 2)
• Lens Mount Security Screw Driver (5 mm hex ball driver, Quantity: 1)
• Warranty Card
• Web Registration Form
1.4 Safety Warnings and Guidelines
CHRISTIE ACCREDITED SERVICE TECHNICIANS REQUIRED! All module
replacement procedures must be performed by qualified service technicians.
NON-INSULATED DANGEROUS VOLTAGES MAY BE EXPOSED! Always
power down and disconnect/disengage all power sources to the projector
before servicing or cleaning.
OBSERVE ALL ELECTROSTATIC PRECAUTIONS! Use a grounded wrist strap
when handling electronic assemblies.
ALLOW LAMP AND PROJECTOR TO COOL DOWN! Once you have turned off
the projector, allow the cooling fans to automatically turn off before
disconnecting from AC and opening the projector. This takes approximately
15 minutes.
