from the bottom, adjust the length of
each side strap, one at a time, until the
child is closely positioned against the
upper part of the adult’s chest, so
ensuring maximum comfort for the
adult and maximum safety for the child.

6. Fasten the padded band to the infant
carrier through the buckles located at the
ends of the padded band. Check that the
buckles are fastened correctly.

7. Adjust the length of the straps of the padded
band, and the side adjusters, ensuring that baby is
sitting in a comfortable and safe position. It is also
necessary to adjust the width around baby’s waist
and leg openings. Ensure that the infant carrier is
neither too large nor too tight, and that it fi ts baby’s
body correctly. (See section 16 - How to adjust waist
width; and section 17 - How to adjust leg openings).
