INFORMATION CONCERNING REPLACEMENTS

Safety advice in case of replacements
When replacing worn or damaged parts, original
spares must always be used.
Special maintenance operations (non included in
this handbook) require a specialised workshop on
the premises which meets the requirements speci-
fied by the relative laws in force (appropriate equip-
ment suitably trained
staff etc.); if you do not have a
compliant workshop, contact an authorised one.
Replace the driving wheel pinions
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Turn the levers (

) to lift the wheels and slacken off
the chain.
2) Unscrew the nuts (

) and remove the casing (
B
).
3) Move the tensioner (
C
) and remove the chain from
the pinion (
D
).
4) Unscrew the screw (
E
) and remove the pinion (
D
).
5) From the range of pinions (
G
), select the most suit-
able pinion to obtain the required plant spacing (see
page 24).
6) Fit the new pinion and tighten the screw (
E
).
7) Fit the chain on the pinions and the tensioner.
8) Fit the casing (

) and tighten the nuts (

).
Proceed as outlined below.
