RISKS FOR MATERIAL PROJECTION.
•
Always disconnect the Nailer from the compressed air source when performing nail loading
operations or maintenance operations.
•
Be aware that a defect in the workpiece, or in a nail can generate projection of elements at
high speed.
•
Always wear impact resistant eye protection when using the Nailer. The degree of
protection must be evaluated with each use.
•
The risks to others should also be evaluated with each use.
•
Make sure the workpiece is firmly attached.
•
Check that the ejection or clamping and / or stopping protection measures are in place and
operational.
•
Beware of possible accidental ejection of materials from Nailer front.
JOB RISKS.
•
The use of the Nailer can expose the user's hands to risks, including impact, cut, abrasion
and heat. Wear appropriate gloves to protect your hands.
•
The operator and maintenance personnel must be physically capable of handling the
Nailer's volume, weight and power.
•
Hold the Nailer correctly, have both hands available, maintain a balanced body position and
firm feet, avoid improper postures, as otherwise you will not be able to counteract the
normal or unexpected movement of the Nailer.
•
Release the trigger in the event of a compressed air supply interruption.
•
Use only lubricants suitable for pneumatic tools.
•
If the Nailer is attached to a suspension device, make sure the attachment is secure.
RISKS FROM REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS.
•
When using the Nailer to perform work-related activities, the operator may experience
discomfort in the hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other parts of the body.
•
While using a Nailer, the operator should adopt a comfortable posture while keeping feet
secure and avoiding awkward postures that are not balanced. The operator must change
his posture during long-term tasks, which can help him avoid discomfort and fatigue.
•
If the operator experiences symptoms such as persistent or recurrent discomfort, pain,
palpitations, tingling, numbness, burning sensation, or stiffness, these warning signs should
not be ignored. The operator should tell the employer and consult a qualified healthcare
professional.
