PRE-BAG INFLATE/ BAG EXHAUST (OPTIONAL)
The Bag Pre-Inflate system consist of the following components:
1)
Bag Inflator Fan
2)
3 way valve Exhaust System
The system is designed to inflate the bulk bag to its full volume prior to being filled. This is
accomplished with the use of the bag inflator fan. At the start of the filling cycle, a blower valve
opens allowing the bag to be inflated for the length of time the timer is set for in the PLC. When
the timer has expired, the 3-way valve changes position and the blower fan stops. The exhaust
port opens, allowing the air from the bulk bag to vent to the dust collection system.
A. Setup and Adjustment:
The timer for the bag inflator is found in the PLC inside the motor control panel. This timer is
adjustable from 0 to 30 and needs to be adjusted to the length of time required to inflate the
bulk bag fully.
B. Maintenance: Blower and Exhaust Valves, Inlet Filter.
Once a year, check the plungers on the three way valves system.
Once a month, clean air filter.
